seems very cruel but it is important. If the
mother does not do this, then the children will never
learn to fly and other animals will make them their
prey because of this harsh training.
One day the chicks learn to fly like eagles It
teaches us that if one has to fly high, then even a human being will have to
come out of his comfort zone
and the most heartbreaking thing that the eagle
teaches us is that when the eagle gets old,
its nails and its beak
become weak. The wings do not have enough strength to
fly at the height to which it was
used to. At such a time anybody would have
accepted the fate and waited to die
but the eagles do not do so.
Instead of accepting the fate, the eagles fly high to change the destiny. He
goes to the mountains and with
his broken beak he
plucks out all his feathers one by one and throws them away until the
last weak feather is removed from his body and
then he breaks his nails and beak by hitting them with stones. The
old eagle is now without
feathers, without beak and nails,
in a bloodied and weak state, he hides in some corner of the mountain
and waits for time to pass.
Gradually, new feathers grow on the eagle’s body,
its beak and nails are stronger than before. The claws
grow back more pointed and worn,
and the eagle flies back to the same height from
which it started flying below. He never accepted it.
